Who We Are
Rayleigh Vineyard was founded in 2003 by Dave and Laura Smith. They have lived in Rayleigh for 20 years and have two teenage children and a crazy dog called Freddie. The church was planted from Southend Vineyard, where both Dave and Laura had served on staff for a number of years. The church began as a small group and quickly multiplied. Rayleigh Vineyard has planted 3 churches across the country. Dave and Laura also serve as the Essex and Kent Vineyard Area Leaders, and they work closely with the Churches For Rayleigh network.
We used to meet at The Todman Centre and then at 3 different schools in town but now we have our own building at London Road SS6 9AY corner of Langdon Road
Our ethos is very relaxed and “come as you are”. Our church is relational and welcoming, and we want you to be able to find God easily, with no obstacles.
Where’s Freddie?
Can you spot our crazy canine in the images down below?
He loves to check out his reflection!
He’s always peering round the corner!
Sometimes it looks like he’s glowing in the dark!
His white fur means he easily blends into the snow!
Freddie loves to wander round Scotland!
He’s always horsing around!
