More than Sunday

SMALL groups

Smallgroups are a great way of connecting with like-minded people from the church - expect lots of food, fun, and great new friendships to occur! They come in all shapes and sizes, feel free to try one (or all) of them and get better connected with people from our Rayleigh Vineyard family!

We have a number of different groups that meet in and around the wider Rayleigh area throughout the week. Groups tend to meet between around 8 and 10.30pm unless otherwise stated.

Rayleigh Vineyard's Book Club meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 8pm near the Rayleigh High Street in Rayleigh. We meet together to have a light hearted discussion about the chosen book of the month over coffee and cake, and then jointly decide on the next book.

All welcome, (even if you havent read the book)!

youth at Rayleigh Vineyard.

If you are 11-16 in senior school then youth is the place for you! We have a lot of events and activites going on for you and your mates to get stuck into. This is aimed at giving you the chance to hang out with friends, meet new people, learn about God, discuss life and eat cake.

We meet up after the worship on a Sunday service and on Friday nights.

The Youth group attend the annual DTI (Dreaming The Impossible) conference each May, which sees youth from all over the UK and Ireland gather together in Lincolnshire for four days of camping, games, teaching, ministry and worship.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a national debt counselling charity with a network of 205 centres, based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt, through its unique, in depth, personal service.

It has been highly recommended by Martin Lewis, the money saving expert.

Rayleigh Vineyard has already run three CAP courses and is planning to run a fourth CAP course in the near future.

Every year, we have organised free Easter Egg Hunts, Themed Fancy Dress parties on the night of Halloween (we have done Pirates and Princesses, Toy Story, Narnia, to name a few...), Christmas Parties, Carol Services, Rayleigh Christmas LIghts Switch-On Fair, Teddy Bears Picnics and lots of other parties...

We regularly hold baptisms, (followed by pool parties!!), bring and share lunches and regular larger family -friendly events.  Our most recent parties have been attended by over 300 people from the local community as well as special surprise guests, such a Peppa Pig!

Our men's ministry is at Rayleigh Vineyard is headed up by Steve McLoud. Steve has a passion to see the men of the church having good healthy friendships with the other guys, and then inviting friends from outside the church to get involved as well, with a whole range of enjoyable events.

The men's ministry has already organised a number of events, including mens breakfasts, a mens conference, weekend away at The Gathering, trips to Duxford, World Cup footie nights, to name a few...
There are lots of other events planned for the near future.  Contact the church office for more details.

women's ministry

So far at Rayleigh Vineyard, we have hosted women's conferences, including guest speakers like Eleanor Mumford (National Director of Vineyard Churches), weekends away and women's breakfasts.
We also hold lots of excellent themed parties - like Jamie Oliver parties and Birkenstock shoe parties and arrange regular social activities including Takeaway evenings, Rollacity fun and ladies tea parties.
There are regular womens evenings, which welcome gifted godly women who share their inspirational stories and their wisdom.
